this was just.....really, really bad. the most interesting characters were the guys who run the gas station and they aren't even a major part of the movie. the other 2 interesting characters are shown in the last 10 mins of the movie. if i wanted to watch hillbilly murderers, i would've watched texas chainsaw ? read more

i had high expectations for this movie and it delivered. i can not not see dwight from the office, it's plainly not possible. 'twas probably not a good idea to have dinner while watching because somebody is getting mutilated half the time. and although it was a nice touch, it made feel quite confused watching a porno at every transition and then corpses laying around and so forth. the end was bullshit honestly i very much so don't condone this ending. not satisfied read more

back in 2003 i went to see this movie in the theatre. as a huge fan of horror films, and having no one to go with, i went by myself. i had heard great things about it and was very excited. i hated it. i had thought it sucked and was one of the worst horror films i had seen in the theatre. i just rewatched it and my opinion has changed. it wasn't that bad at all. it's still no masterpiece but it wasn't terrible and i actually kind of enjoyed it. i have no idea why i hated it so back in 2003 but i don't now. sure it's got some problems, like some of the acting, and a few loose plot holes and... read more

61/100 Техасская резня бензопилой под бутиратом. Забавно, что снималось всё как дань к той же Резне, но Зомби напихал сюда настолько много всего, и даже больше. Что по-итогу, это в принципе сложно назвать кино. Это сложно досматривать (не из-за торчер порн, а скорее из-за перегруженности всего) И не знаю случайно или нет, но в фильме очень много стаффа, который потом так или иначе будет заимствован в другие игры, клипы, кино. film 25 of obligatory october of horror ii jumpscare counter: 6 you know, the start really made me think this wouldn't be one of those no fun allowed edgy trash horror films. unfortunately, it quickly devolved into exactly that. i guess you can give this some credit for feeling like an authentic exploitation flick that would have come out 25 years earlier but to be perfectly honest those aren't exactly quality cinema and neither is this. read more

Saw it back in 2004 and hated it, saw again since then, and still hate it. Sorry if that offends you to see that but this just did not work for me as a film or a movie. It just made me think that Rob thought he can one up Tobe Hooper in the back wood renecks as psychos to the ninth degree. Not for me, maybe for Rob's fans, but definitely not for me. read more

My quick rating - 6;1/10. Multiple views; first time rating. The first delve into movie making for Rob Zombie and it shows. This movie is clearly not the near masterpiece that the pseudo-sequel "Devils Rejects" is. Ok; masterpiece is a stretch; but I'll come back to that in its own review. This movie is more of a extended music video to showcase Zombies style and the 3 main characters he intends on using moving forward.
