While enjoying a pleasure cruise on the Nile, famed detective Hercule Poirot must investigate the murder of an heiress - followed by further deaths as the culprit tries to avoid being caught. A lavish follow-up to EMI's hit "Murder on the Orient Express" has Ustinov taking over from Finney and creating a more likable (if less faithful) version of Agatha Christie's famous sleuth.
