Words can't describe how much I love this film. Another example of how the Koreans trump genre cinema by a long shot. 'Train to Busan' is both an entertaining zombie-apocalypse-action-film and a touching drama of survival. Great characterisation, writing and cinematography. read more

i was actually surprised at how emotionally invested i was in our main characters, especially in a zombie outbreak movie. there were plenty of tense moments and room for each character to develop for us to attach to throughout the movie. i also liked this interpretation of zombies and what they can and can't do. read more

My quick rating - 7;7/10. Wow. This has to be one of the best zombie films to come along in a LONG time. Easily in the conversation of top 10. The Korean masterpiece does what very few zombie films will do. You genuinely care about the characters involved. This includes rooting for some; and you will downright also be pulling for others to become dinner. Loved this action/horror film from Korea. Most of the action takes place on a train speeding to Busan after a zombie outbreak.There is a nice different selection of characters and they all give great performances, all the fun in trying to guess who will live and who will die.Special effects are well done and the cinematography is great.Zombies are fast too,not in some of the TV shows around.Thoroughly recommend this train ride. read more

my gosh this movie will leave you with a high after watching it. It really is a thriller. I think this movie is literal perfect. I usually don't like zombie films but my gosh. This is one of those movies that I have to rewatch very soon. something I rarely do. I understand the hype. I almost Cried. The Characters all mattered and the Yeon Sang - ho clearly wasn't afraid to let the characters die and I love it when writers do that. read more
