cut out the portions with dracula or hide him in shadows and this movie suddenly becomes 5x better. sure i understand the dichotomy of dracula as a force or nature and dracula as a lonely old soul, but it doesn't help the fact he looks incredibly silly and every time he pops out i expect this movie to become a parody. read more

9 nosferatu, vampiro de la noche. extraordinariamente ambiental. su ritmo lento es un deleite y gozo para los sentidos. su maravillosa musica aunque repetitiva es el acompañamiento ideal de esta casi se podría decir relato mitológico. la fotografía es excelente y las escenas algunas de ellas surrealistas se conectan perfectamente con las demás de corte realista. una de las mejores películas del vampiro más famoso. read more

Но ради этого пришлось совершать много телодвижений, а тяночка так то была даже не в курсе его намерения, и не разделила порывы пожилого ебыря, из-за чего тот вообще откинулся. В общем, тян не нужны! hooptober 666 #9 horror x52 2019 rewatch watched on bfi blu-ray via the werner herzog boxset. first time i watched this was on ifc with my dad, and my dad was just about shitting his pants! klaus kinski to me has always been dracula to me, and by far the scariest dracula ever shot on film! great cinematography, great acting, great score by popol vuh, great atmosphere, just about everything about this film is top notch! read more

part of obligatory october of horror this is what a remake should be. just a straight improvement over the original. considering the original is widely regarded as one of the best silent films ever made, that's quite the accomplishment. it helps to actually give the characters some, y'know, character. the entire film just has a really fascinating draw to it. it's got this underlying sense of melancholy and dread, which is just aided by its patient pacing. in some films that might be a problem but here it just helps the mood. the style made it feel dated but also timeless at the same time. the... read more
