didn't disappoint. i knew going in that it was comedy batman, edging more towards the tone of the 1960's show- but more for adults, if that makes any sense. i liked it for what it was. harley quinn is the ridiculous and zany femme fatale she always was, and her dynamic with nightwing is golden. sure everything here is just a hair out of character for everyone involved, and despite high stakes the tone is firmly in 'camp' mode, but i didn't mind. i had a lot of fun with this flick. it's a simple diversion that aims to tell a funnier, and sexier story than we're used to seeing in the btas style. it's like a pg-13 episode of the show, but one of those weird 'off' episodes that play against type. it's a bit sillier, a bit more wild. like a rock n' roll adventure or something. the voice acting is great, and a certain some'thing' makes a cameo at the end- although it's a rather pointless cameo, unfortunately. i think managed expectations and knowing what you're watching will go a long way towards letting batman and harley quinn find its intended audience. not everyone likes silly batman stories, and that's fine. this isn't a perfect or great movie, i'll admit that, but it's way better than people on here would have you believe. one star reviews? really? hyperbolic much? good grief.
