i grew up knowing of this films existence but never actually seeing it. my childhood was not as good as it could have been because i didn't see this. it's not even worth doing a plot synopsis because each thing you say has to have an additional point made to put it into context. i guess you can say "jack drives a lorry and gets embroiled in a long running battle" but that doesn't really sum up the joy this film brings. next time i watch this i'm bringing vodka. read more
