nicholas cage goes on the hunt for the makers of a real/or is it? snuff film. his wife is catherine keener, also involved is james gandolfini and joaquin phoenix. it's not terrible and if you like dark and twisted cinema then sure it worth one viewing but it has a lot of problems. it's not a great script first off, some of the dialogue is terrible and there are moments that are cheesy and don't wring true. it takes a lot to make keener look like a bad actress but her dialogue here sure does perform the trick. and then there is the terrible editing job at the beginning where things go so fast... read more
