quiet and gentle, the camerawork is masterful. with every still shots that frames the dialogue, the calculated placement of characters and props, it adds to the scene. mirror to mirror, it was genuinely a reflection of passion. a passionate young girl and a 30 year old korean translator, one who is passionate about architecture and one who doesn't. the respect they command to each other despite this is passion itself. superb film, peaceful and moving at the same time. read more

seeing these two interact with each other is something unexpected, but the dynamic between them is so interesting and fascinating. they helped each other so much and kept each other company without it being romantic in any way. they're the complete opposite, but they're really good for each other in every way possible. it's almost similar to mia and sebastian in la la land and jesse and celine in the before trilogy. i see so much of myself in casey. i'm passionate about certain things but never seem to set myself towards them because of the obstacles in my way. i'm also doubtful in a way that... read more
