it is quaint how they think you can buy the presidency with just $1 million in tv ads. the premise is an interesting idea that they don't do much with. they are really only in two timelines, 1994 and 2004, and those are the least interesting timelines they could be in. there are a couple fun action scenes, but most of the climax is too dark to really see and appreciate the stunt work. read more

for a cinematic time travel thingamajig it definitely lacks scope, but leave it to peter hyams to make a perfectly functional movie. much better than i remembered it to be, probably because my expectations of this were pretty low. read more
