the pacing is plodding, and fairly predictable. the writing is wonky. the acting is worse. yet it's still watchable thanks to some neat visuals and general desire to see it unfold. i don't know, maybe this movie sucks, maybe a positive rating is a mistake. there's just some quality to it that made me think it wasn't a waste of time. somebody fanedit this. read more

pet sematary is a great stephen king adaption, one of the better horror adaptions of his work. as a young tyke i loved this movie and the zelda scenes always freaked me out. watching it again it was just as enjoyable as i remembered but also not quite as good as i remembered. it's still one of the better king movies but it does have a little of problems. first the good. the story is original and unique, a rarity in the horror genre. the film itself doesn't hold back either. it's gory and eerie and it earns it's r rating with it's kid killing and non-happy ending. zelda is still a trip and a... read more
