Charlie Croker pulled off the crime of a lifetime. The one thing that he didn't plan on was being double-crossed. Along with a drop-dead gorgeous safecracker, Croker and his team take off to re-steal the loot and end up in a pulse-pounding, pedal-to-the-metal chase that careens up, down, above and below ... More

i remember this getting a real slating on release. that's the main reason i didn't see it at the time. whilst it's far cry from being as wonderful as the original, it's actually not that bad. i think they called it the italian job because they wanted to use minis. they couldn't do that without being called rip off merchants. another film with weird plot holes. doing things the hard way etc; why did charlie need to split off from the others if they end result was that he needed to be with them anyway and steve following him? it just didn't make sense. it just made their job harder. still, i... read more

i think i have said it before, but i tend to enjoy these heist movies way too much. the italian job is by no means stellar film making, but it's got decent acting, some really good and exciting heists, and of course...charlize theron. i don't need much more to feel entertained, and i highly doubt anyone else that likes heist movies need more either. read more
