really solid entry into the franchise. recaps, reprises, and callbacks are all done well and are very charming. a fun ride with some and classic moments and relatable characters you can't help but attach yourself to. great practical effects, especially with a kill involving a car. savini's make-up is genuinely creepy and steals the scene in the last 15 minutes. some kills and lines are unintentionally funny but nothing too noteworthy. the comedic aspect merely adds to the charm of the franchise. questionable decision near the end of the film. read more

Probably the "strongest" cast in the series with Tommy Jarvis and Jim. It's still a trashy dumb guilty pleasure though. lol
