How To Train Your Dragon is a good film that could have been great if it's central metaphor wasn't so toothless. read

this touching viking tale has it all: flames, flights, mysteries, dragons, quests, but most of all, plenty of heart. a treat for adult and toddler alike, not just visually (where it excels at lifelike, convincing expressions, taken largely from feline companionship) but it leaves the viewer with a warm fuzzy feeling hours after the show has ended, which is rare in the day and age of assembly-line film productions. read

What a fun movie!!
I can't believe it's taken me this long to start this series. I just assumed I wouldn't like it that much, but omg it's just so cute. The dragon designs are so creative and fascinating to watch and the visuals are stunning.
Oh, Hiccup can get it, by the way. Like he's animated and Idc, they made him cute af.
I can't really complain about anything from this movie, except (and this is really nit picky) I wish it took longer for Astrid to come around, or for her to be a less obvious love interest. But like, who cares, it's a fun movie and I enjoyed it throughout. read

Some very cute dragons, some annoying ass vikings. Toothless is the best Dreamworks mascot since Shrek, every time he was in danger I was like "yeah no fuckin way dude". read

Entretanto, How to Train Your Dragon também merece ser lembrado por tais méritos.
