Review of The Road to Wellville

i was watching this while eating corn-cakes, and thought "fuck it", broke out the kellogg's (there is still, truly, no substitute) corn flakes (plus some all bran, because who doesn't need more roughage?) ;) being a vegan and practicing nofap from time to time, i had a cold shower this very morning! i was even a disobedient child who had an eating issue (though i never refused those sweet flakes of gold). i felt like this movie touched me on a spiritual level! set back when the health craze really was crazy, and there was a war in the public mind for sexual health & liberation, this movie captures it wonderfully. consistently funny, delightful acting, explosive effects, costumes & set design on-point. fuck john harvey kellogg for his lasting contribution to the pseudoscience of practices like circumcision and enemas. then again, as noted on wikipedia "kellogg was an early proponent of the new germ theory of disease, and well ahead of his time in relating intestinal flora and the presence of bacteria in the intestines to health and disease", so he wasn't entirely mad. but by god, with this movie and a bowl of cereal, it was almost worth it...
