so i come to the end of my bond watch. with the exception of the two "unofficial" films i've seen them all. 2742 minutes of varying quality. 45.6 hours of my life. i don't think i'd do it again. especially not the moore ones. he's terrible. it turns out lazenby was in fact quite good and merely had the misfortune of a bad film. dalton was ace. brosnan started good but started going a bit moore. connery was as good as i remembered and craig is definitely fantastic. so quantum of solace. strange one this. this should be a great bond film but it just doesn't quite work. dominic greene, i don't... read

too entrenched in its prequel's melodramas, this bond flick is only notable for its 70's intro sequence, and oil(ed) fields. dench delivers flawlessly, as always, but craig ends up looking a lil puppy-like as a renegade agent. sidenote: first green, now kurylenko? is bond's taste (+ suavity & driving skills) declining with age?!? read
