jet li goes universe-hopping to kill every version of himself in order to get stronger and eventually become god or something? this apparently counts as homicide because he gets caught, and at his tribunal slash execution they show all of the different versions he's already killed and it's like "sven law" from the tucana universe and he has a dragonball hairdo or some rastafari looking version of jet li. it's as if key & peele made an 80 minute sketch based on highlander.......with nu metal music. full blown banana-town that clocks in at a sweet 80 minutes and isn't afraid to be a cartoon read more

-jet li plays like fifty versions of himself, but only the ones that can fight each other are important. -jason statham (with hair) plays an inter-dimensional cop named "funsch". let that sink in. - let the bodies hit the floor is played over the first action scene. - carla gugino looks ridiculously hot in this movie. - papa roach's blood brothers plays over the climactic fight. you're either someone who's okay with the over-designed sci-fi aesthetic of post-matrix action movies, complete with ridiculous cgi, and every action trope imaginable... or you're not, and this movie isn't for you. is... read more

lmao this movie is trash, but the best kind. It is not a well made movie, it is pure cheese, it has a nu-metal soundtrack. The One quite literally does not have an original idea of it's own, it steals every single idea, every single trope it possibly can in its sub 90 min run time. It rides the so bad its good line as much as it can, it went the distance. It's the kind of movie that while I cannot give any kind of credit to, I didn't hate it, it's too cheesy to hate.
