My classic movie for this week is another movie account of the ill fated Titanic without the Jack and Rose romance. This film probably gave a better look into the passengers and their fates. I do remember thinking that the ship sunk a lot slower than the 1997 version, making it was something to make the later version more thrilling. I did like the later version but its good to get a different perspective. read

Each of the films, except for the one at hand here, seems to have had a larger-than-usual degree of attention paid to it by the Criterion fan base.... read
