here is a movie i thought i'd like a lot more than i did. it wasn't bad by any stretch but it wasn't great either. i didn't dislike it but then i didn't love it or even really like it. yeah, i liked it but i thought i would more so. i think, for me, the biggest fault was the sort of vaudevillian slapstick tone that the film went for didn't really work. this was a somewhat serious comic caper film that had the potential to be better but then soderbergh, for some reason, decided to score the film that made it feel like you were watching a slapstick film where at any moment someone was going to... read more
