the least horror wes craven movie i've watched, but unsettling and nicely crafted. layers upon layers of nightmare images around the same themes. it was so dream-like that i expected it to be revealed as a trip in the end. the fact that it was not would make for an interesting, probably less satisfying rewatch. read more
