i feel a little bad talking shit about heavy metal/metal hurlant because it was a great place for alt comics and even inspired a bunch of my favorite manga artists such as taiyo matsumoto and toyokazu matsunaga, but (for example) moebius' art doesn't really animate well unless you put a budget behind it. also: this is some straight up wish fulfilment anime that made babyboomer dudes think every girl's gotta look like a fruit basket and can't wait to bone them. say your daddy-o is dissin' ya weeb shows, you just ask him how he feels about one o' these. 100% the kinda shit you could catch him... read more

L'unione tra il Fantasy , lo Sci-fi e lo Steampunk e il tutto condito con tanto ma tanto Eros, fa di questo prodotto d'animazione uno dei migliori esempi sul come gestire una Trama , anche piuttosto elaborata , veicolando varie riflessioni e sfumature narrative e visive , anche grazie a diversi registi talentuosi , riunendo il tutto in un prodotto volendo Antologico ma ben coeso tra le sue tante parti.
