“if we're caught, we're gonna hang... but there's many a slip twixt the cup and the lip“ an 80s version of a western film that is as much fun, wild and entertaining as youd hope it would be. it has a great cast thats led by estevez as billy the kid and sutherland as doc. it obviously takes liberties with certain truths about the lincoln county war but this isnt supposed to be a true biopic of that or any of these folks in the film. i could rewatch this multiple times and enjoy it every single time. super - ⭐️⭐️⭐️&1/2 read more

it is essentially the brat pack magnificent seven, only they aren't all good guys or well developed characters. it is pretty thin and the tone is all over the place, it is sometimes goofy and other times deadly serious. emilio estevez is a little too over the top as billy the kid. it hits every 80s movie trope and then some. i think the entire film is summed up pretty well by the entire final shootout being done in slow motion. it is like 10 minutes of slo-mo. watched as part of scavenger hunt 46 task #24: rewatch your favourite movie with a friend who hasn't seen it (i just picked... read more
