Let Yourself Go

An overweight, stingy psychoanalyst hires an offbeat personal trainer and becomes involved in her criminal boyfriend's search for hidden stolen jewels. A major disappointment for anyone who had appreciated director Amato's previous two efforts. Clumsily structured screwball comedy sadly lacks the comic punch and the timing its material demands and it fails to follow the advice offered by its own title: never quite letting itself go, the film lets its cast do what it can with underdeveloped, standard characters and predictable plot twists. read more
