5.5 oz, un mundo fantástico (1985) desafortunada aunque entrañable película. secuela de el mago de oz. walter murch está flojo en la dirección de esta película que no posee grandes dotes en casi nada, salvo que al final acaba siendo muy familiar sin ninguna pretensión. read more

2-minute review: return to oz is meant to be a sequel to the first book, "the wonderful wizard of oz", rather than the film. hence, a few discrepancies in the portrayal that may have thrown off fans of the old film, like dorothy here looking about half the age she was in the old film (despite them saying those events were six months ago). this film is also a bit of a departure in that it seems a bit more squarely aimed at kids, rather than a kind of fun, all-ages musical. in fact, there are no songs in this (another factor that might have turned off or confused fans) and gone is much of that... read more
