look, this is the only werewolf movie that is any good. i can say this because i've seen like 5 of em and they all stunk. wait no, company of wolves is pretty good. okay look, this werewolf movie, it's great. lon chaney was probably my favorite person in mean dad & manchild meet frankenstein, so i figured i'd go check out og wolf man. and sure enough he's a big reason why i ended up liking it as much as i did. i dug the way he was introduced as this oafish little brother who comes home after the death of his brother, and has to basically take over the family estate. there's a lot going on read more

hooptober 666 #14 watched on universal blu-ray from the classic universal monsters set. the worst of the classic universal monster films i've seen so far. it actually gets kind of boring, but there were enough good scenes that worked for me and it's really short. if it were any longer, i'd say this was leaning towards a bad movie. read more
