what i liked - - the amazing 60s aesthetic + the soundtrack. it's kind of similar to what linklater aimed to do (and partially achieved) in dazed and confused but ended up messing up coz linklater being linklater chose to make a film about high school kids. make no mistake, visually, this is one of tarantino's most accomplished films - good performances from both pitt and dicaprio especially pitt - choreography especially in the climax but that's like tarantino's bread and butter what i disliked - - it's overlong - the first two acts and the third feel so disjointed. the payoff in the climax is high but there is little set up - a lot of margot robbie's screen time is so pointless -the bruce lee bit is incredibly cringe. fucking hollywood white people i swear - the feet shots have reached a whole new level like what the fuck qt. overall still pretty decent. probably belongs in the upper half of tarantino films or probably not idk
