very much a halfway point between corey yuen's lethal lady and doa. the action's hardly as inspired as the good old days and he actually has karen mok mimic that glass window-pull michelle yeoh does in yes madam, but it's only one dude and all of the windows in the movie are cg for some reason (oh right, safety). still, a very entertaining ride with a lot of care for its ass-kickin' ladies drowned in some wonderful soap opera melodrama, and if there's one movie that'll give you them willennium feels it's the one where a main character is on inline skates in a record store ###is it future or... read more
