there is some really good and some really bad. it all kinda evens out into mediocre. prologue: it is fine, but unspectacular. it sets the tone reasonably well, but i would have preferred if they had used it to form a framing device as some kind. even just they are telling the stories and then they could have concluded it after the others segments. time out: this is pretty run of the mill, slightly below average twilight zone. it is fairly clunky, but works well enough to get by. the accident and particularly landis' role in it is horrible and does cast a bit of a cloud over the whole thing.... read more

let's break it down here. 1. landis: why would a racist being put through the wringer of history even be creepy? that should just be like, the punchline, man. ⭐️ 2. spielberg: i fell asleep and i wasn't that tired. i saw scatman crothers was in it, tho? ??? 3. dante: live-action cartoons are my jam!! kathleen quinlan, that stop-motion rabbit & using footage of bimbo's initiation? beautiful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4. miller: one of my (many) fav treehouse of horror segments and john lithgow kills it. so does miller. and that bookend... *chef fingers* even more beautiful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... read more
