Let's be honest Chapter One was way better compared to this.

Story: 7

Book or Film's Bad Ending? Which one is worse?

I remember reading the book as teenager bringing me all these weird feelings but everything was overshadowed by the ending of it. Well, there's no way to describe my frustration watching this after what the first one was able to accomplish. It really felt like it was dragging itself. This film should have never been this long.

Visuals: 8

Same but somehow felt worse.

From a visual perspective, it did nothing more than the first one. It relied a lot on jump scares rather than creating the horror atmosphere. I'll give it a pass for the baseball game and funhouse sections.

Character: 7

Character growth all the way.

In all honesty the best part. The way the actors portrayed the older characters felt real for the most part. Bill Hader did a great job and for me personally, he with the help of Bill Skarsgård's Pennywise carried the film.

Enjoyment: 8

If it was shorter, it would have been better.

In conclusion, I did enjoy the film especially the acting and visuals but as I mentioned before sometimes less runtime is better.
