without this film using the words "me too" in the screenplay amazon would still be pumping millions and millions into his work despite the fact he's been controversial for decades. pretty cute movie but after a while it starts to lose steam from great cast members being wasted while some jokes were played out decades ago such as making a joke about millstein as a last name. elle fanning's character is a hollyhock (bojack) like character while timothée is only good at playing woody allen jr at some points with one of the most idiotic names i ever heard in any form of fiction being called gatsby welles. selena gomez is starting to grow on me based on this and dead don't die even though i liked wizards as a child (she's great in spring breaks of course). no matter what you think about his love with somebody who isn't even his daughter in the first place the film itself is pretty harmless, see a few reviewers here think he based the film director based on roman polanski despite that being clearly false since it's based on directors such as terrence malick. watch it if you want or don't, you either love woody's yearly releases (despite him being unable to make 2018 because of old drama) or pop in once in a while (midnight in paris), you know what one you are.
