Green Lantern: First Flight

i've always found it strange that green lantern needs to charge his ring. depending on version he either has to go to oa or use an actual lantern. i don't recall ever seeing the lantern itself having to be charged so if that's able to link back to the main battery then why isn't the ring? it's inconsistent. in the millennia that the guardians have been around they haven't considered that that would be safer for their guardians, as well as simpler. that's something i think hal needs to be bringing up. read more
