Review of Green Lantern: First Flight

quite the paradox, this one. they downplayed hal jordan to the point where he comes across as a dull steve trevor from wonder woman. the beginning starts off as an origin story, but then hyperdrives straight into battle. there is next to know dialog or character development. hal also skips any sort of training or build up. he's bitch-slapping dudes around early on, and then powers up to super saiyan: green by the end. the history and reasoning behind any of the lore is completely ignored, to the point where you would have to be a huge fan to register why half the things are happening. it's as if they skipped green lantern's: first & second flights, and flew ring-first right into the trilogy finale. as such, it's a fun action packed finale. but also, a convoluted intro. green lantern: first flight: 2/5 green lantern: second flight: n/a green lantern: third flight:4/5 green lantern: fourth through sixth flight: tba update: i forgot to mention how utterly stupid it was when hal was using his ring to generate a bluetooth headset, for a phone call, in sky high flight. what's next, he's in space on his will powered laptop, streaming the internet. or on the moon watching netflix on his green tv. what the flying fuck! lol, the ring doesn't provide cell service or data plans... hahahahaha.
