oh my gosh!!! how i absolutely loved the original movie. greek mythology, ray harryhausen's stop motion, cheesy but enjoyable dialogues and cast ..the real thing!! they did a reallly "modern classic" - and don't get me wrong with this term; of course it is not "modern" but when you see it without any background information given i would bet that you date this movie somewhere back to the late 60s given the fact that other harryhausen/mythical blockbusters like "iason and the argonauts" or "sindbad" were made in the first half of this decade we call the sixties. and a classic it is indeed - read more
