Extreme Prejudice

i had no idea this was a modern day western or else i maybe woulda checked it out sooner, or the fact that it's basically the hardest a-team episode ever. i was pleasantly surprised by the amount of plot threads at work here, and that cast is just... wow. like for this kind of movie it's impossible to fill those roles with more iconic hard asses. hill's best work if you ask me, shocking that it's so under the radar compared to the rest. heck even brewster's millions has 4 times as many views on this site, and that movie is not good. read more

I literally was at the AAFES video store when this came out. They'd get rid of the VHS boxes and put the tapes in plastic cases. I was given the cover of this movie by the cashier. It's amazing to think it still took 36 years to watch. On paper I should love this. Directed by Walter Hill starring Clancy Brown, Michael Ironside, Rip Torn, Powers Boothe and William Forsythe! It plays like a more realistic A-team. I actually wanted to see more of the military team than Nick Nolte's part. Unfortunately I felt it built up in the middle but kinda let me down at the end.
