The Inglorious Bastards

this movie is sort of a cross between a knock off of the dirty dozen, the wild bunch and a spaghetti western (or spaghetti war film). it's also a whole lot of fun. it's fairly well acted, the direction is solid and the effects, sets and locations are top notch. it does have that annoying dubbed italian vibe that many movies from it's era entailed but it's done fairly well and barely distracts. the action is insane (although not bloody enough) and is non stop. there is a slow motion sequence near the end that is just gut wrenchingly thrilling. there are surprises and thrills and a love story... read more
