i think watching this for the first time 13 years later is ideal. i'd forgotten everything from the trailer, knew the series went all downhill, and had really no expectations for the film. it allowed me to be fairly creeped out while also acknowledging all the flaws of the film. the good: the biggest success here is that this is a movie anyone is seeing at all. i mean, this was made by a bunch of amateurs in the director's house in 10 days for almost no money. and it spawned a whole series and a ton of knockoffs. that's the real supernatural phenomenon! this film did so well with so little... read more
