another 'so bad it's funnily enjoyable' annabelle film (after annabelle [2014]). characters are so dumb. fog everywhere. half the decent stuff is recycled from previous films. some of the ferryman and bride stuff was approaching 'scary' (might have worked in a movie that the audience could take seriously). werewolf is hilariously terrible. annabelle has a couple cameo appearances, some better than others. there's some objects that do things by themselves, it's whatever. creepy board-game idea is wasted. priest-ghost is not built into the story in any satisfying way, is it supposed to be the... read more

the best of the annabelle movies, which is to say the best of an awful spin-off of a mediocre franchise. its virtue over its brethren comes from building up dread without rushing or resorting to jump scares, and from decent characters. the jump to the last scene is unnecessary, tying the movie with a silly bow, but all in all, no gotcha moment setting up a follow up, so it could have been worse. read more

film #24 of hooptober the 6th: the producers cut neither as bad as annabelle nor as good as the surprising annabelle: creation, the third film in this conjuring universe franchise is simply okay. that's not necessarily a bad thing by any particular measure, of course. outside of the main franchise, this horror cinematic universe has a somewhat spotty reference. The worst movie of the conjuring series. Nothing happens for about an hour of the movie, the warrens are also barely in it just showing up shortly in the beginning and ending of the movie. 2.5 is probably a very generous rating for this, wasn't boring or anything just very slow build up like the paranormal activity movies. read more

My quick rating - 6;0/10. Still decent but the series is dragging on to me. They have done a good job keeping each one somwhat unique while still holding the main idea of the possessed doll in the forefront. read more

The 3rd instalment of this horrific doll is the weakest in my view. Annabelle which is also part of "The Conjuring" franchise tries to hard to live up to its predecessors and it doesn't really pay off. The main characters are not The Warren couple from The Conjuring but a babysitter, her friend and the Warren's daughter. Fans of the two series may appreciate it more. Average read more

The malevolent doll returns once again to wreak havoc on a babysitter, her friend and the daughter of the Warrens. Lacking the scares and dread of the Conjuring movies, Annabelle Comes Home feels rather unnecessary and there is only so many times the sudden appearance of the admittedly creepy doll remains effective. Interessante como utiliza tudo que veio antes a seu favor, aproveitando bem o que já fora estabelecido nos dois The Conjuring e nos Annabelle anteriores. Aliás, é o melhor filmado dos três filmes, sabendo aproveitar cada recanto do lar Warren para criar boas cenas.
