The Stepfather

i was really pleased with how much of a seasonal flick this was, autumn vibes up the wazoo yo. it's actually a lot like j-carp's halloween when you think about it, except it has like, characters that feel realish (in comparison) and a face to the madness. there's only one major kill before the home stretch and it's one that's really felt by jill schoelen's character. it does feel kiiiiind of like a tv movie, especially in terms of the score, but it doesn't bring it down much. i heard there's sequels and i'll be disappointed if the stepfather 4: spacefather isn't one of em. read more
