Like a Boss

quick hit: like a boss is going to largely depend on whether you find tiffany haddish's brand of humor funny. it works for a lot of people, so i'm not going to knock it outright; however, it's not for me. the problem is that there isn't much beyond that to sustain this movie. salma hayek delivers a few chuckles as the villainous corporate boss who comes in and drives a wedge between haddish and rose byrne's best friends as they try to run their business, and jennifer coolidge and billy porter are a blast. but these elements are not in the film nearly long enough to make it very read more

This one was probably more for the ladies but I'll have a go at reviewing it. Firstly nothing really original here and its been pretty much done before like "Devil wears Prada". I was not convinced by the two female leads here and most of the film was unfunny. Salma Hayek adds a bit of Latin spice but in the end its not enough to rescue this mess.
