watched it for the meme. i had been busy with assignments and stuff. finally had the time to watch this film. phenomenal acting, heartbreaking characters and outstanding effects. the film was about a man who wants to morb his way through the film. just kidding, the acting was mediocre and the main characters were one dimensional and underdeveloped. the effects however, was unique and very fluid. the story writing was too weak. the idea of brothers who fights each other because of their different beliefs was okay but this film executed it poorly. i would recommend this film to anyone who wants... read more

Morbius has some great action sequences & ok characters but that credit scene was bad! The credit scene doesnt fit in well with the rest of the movie at all, its just bad for all Marvel fans! The action sequences were quite good! The movie does feel a little short but it doesnt detract from my enjoyment. Green Lantern is a lot better than this. This is another level of low. There is nothing redeeming here; every aspect could be criticized. It has a really bad ppt-looking circle out transition effect in the first few minutes. In films with poor screenplays like this, the lead generally gives a good performance, but I can't even say that about this one. Kids dont talk the way kid-Morbius and kid-Milo do. I steered away from the negative press on this one and am somewhat glad I did. Not like I wouldn't have seen it anyways; but it surely wasn't as bad as people said. Jaret Leto plays Michael Morbius, a brilliant scientist whom also has a degenerative blood illness which will ultimately cause his untimely death. Was this movie horrendously bad? No. Again, like Madame Web, I was surprised to see it wasn't so bad I wanted to shut the tv off like everyone says. Surprisingly, Jared Leto was actually decent in this (I do not like him). Matt Smith on the big screen? Yes, please. The ending is hilarious though, big fight -> instant ending. read more

Michael Morbius more like Michael Jackson, am I right? I have stopped watching MCU "movies" a while ago because every time I do, I regret it. While I wasn't familiar with the comics or the character, (hero?) Morbius is very predictable, they even did the Verbal's limp from The Usual Suspects. Morbius still has some corny MCU jokes but overall is an improvement as a movie although ultimately pointless with not much to tell. MCU probably needed to introduce his character so he can go join their boys band in upcoming movies. Which I won't be read more
