Tito and the Birds

it is much darker than i thought it would be. but being from mexico, where the social situation is similar to brazil from what i've heard, i understand where it comes from. still, i feel like the tone is half scrambled, it kind of jumps from an adventure from a children's series to a body horror movie and from there to political commentary quite noticeably, the same goes for the story. i feel like if they had made the whole plot more allegorical, it would be easier to understand why it happens this way. i think the same goes for the characters, they work better as pieces part of the film and... read more
