it's funny how in every time travel movie which breaks its own internal logic, there is always one character (usually a scientist or philosopher) who says something along the lines of "even i don't understand time travel, and i'm a genius". almost as if the writer is trying to shift the blame for the plot not making sense onto the audience, who are too dumb to get it. i usually love time travel movies, even when they do contradict themselves, but this one was particularly stupid. not only did the entire premise rest on not one but two glaring bootstrap paradoxes, but it also tried to claim... read more

Philadelphia, 1988. A series of gruesome, almost impossible, murders take place and beat cop Tom Lockhart (Boyd Holbrook) finds himself confronting the main suspect following a chase in the city's subway system. "Thomas," she asks him as his gun points in her direction, "is this where it happens?" In the ensuing struggle, she falls backward and is torn to pieces by an oncoming train.
