high-concept, low-rent production featuring a sexually frustrated guy with a murderous alter ego... b-belial?! while not on par with henenlotter's scuzzy charm, it's p much in the same ballpark and i can't imagine lamberson not having drawn any inspiration from the guy. loses a bit of focus towards the middle, but those final 15 minutes are filled with heady goodness. a bonus theory i came up with is that slimer used to be a lost boy who ate some of that lsd paint from hook, but he's too good-natured so he never murdered the slime away. #murdertheslimeaway read

i've seen movies with green slime, pink slime, blue slime, and clear slime. this has gotta be the first one with such a penchant for yellow. the effects themselves can be pretty good, but what's with yellow? it doesn't invite very pleasant comparisons. when i think of slime, or in this case, ectoplasm- i want to think of ghosts, mad scientists, and spooky stuff like that. make the damn stuff green. but yellow? immediately i think, mustard... vomit... and paint. i dunno, man. the movie gets kudos for genuinely grossing me out in a few parts. it's not the fastest paced movie though, and while... read
