this is probably a solid 3-star realistic western for anybody interested in watching who hasn't seen the series. the dialogue, rich characters, and relationship dynamics should provide enough interest to see viewers through, though it'd likely make them want to go back and watch the series to see what led up to all this. for fans of the show, it's a much richer experience, the closest thing to a real ending that the series will ever get. it's a largely positive, satisfying conclusion, but the positives are less interesting to write about. they're pretty much all the same things as the show.... read more
