certainly a decent flick even if the quality of writing and performance can sometimes wander. the horror is executed effectively for the most part, creating an eerie atmosphere, although a couple of moments are weak. tbh, my biggest complaint with the film is the unrealistic fake amanita muscaria (aka fly agaric) mushrooms they used. this will inordinately bother me every time i watch this. also, that weird creature that likes to light candles and get ready for bed, but doesn't sleep in the bed, sleeps next to the bed. in someone else's house. and has no blood, is like a zombie of some kind.... read more

7 gretel y hansel: un oscuro cuento de hadas una nueva vuelta de tuerca a un cuento para niños, girándolo más al terror que ya vimos en la bruja. no entiendo lo bajo de su calificación. quizás la gente se esperaba otra cosa, pero es mucho mejor que la horrible adaptación de acción que hicieron hace unos años. la fotografía es prodigiosa que ayuda en meterse aún más en el ambiente tétrico del relato. read more
