(caution) anyone using the word "zombie" when referring to this movie is dangerous and a guaranteed crazy! (stranger danger) please stay clear of these crazies as they're clearly infected and should be treated as bona fide lunatics. (warning) all reviews will be quarantined before this ignorance spreads, hopefully negating a potential pandemic. read

had no expectations at all the first time i watched the crazies, but it turned out to be a nice surprise. now it's one of those movies i take out once in a while just to rewatch. i don't jump much anymore, but i like it enough to don't mind that. i believe most horror fans that like the zombie genre would enjoy this one. it's not actually a zombie movie but works just as well. if you end up liking this one, check out the original from the early seventies as well. read
