Pray for Death

james booth, who not only plays the bad guy in this but is also credited as a writer, wrote himself a scene in which he does some pretty unspeakable things. they're mostly heavily implied, but still it's the only blemish on what i feel is a pretty perfect 80's revenge ninja movie. kosugi is an absolute all-time badass and i found myself really involved with his family in this. could have fooled me thinking this was a cannon flick, but apparently it's an independent production. and for what it is, it's an impressive one. read more
