"a brutalist art installation that takes place through the known time and space" is the best description that i could come up with right now. the film deals with age old questions like existence and extinction. it gives off art installation vibes rather than a regular film as it lacks almost all of the conventions of an art-house film except tilda swinton and her monumental voice. read more

I watched this movie three times in a row while drawing for work. Tilda Swinton narrates from the perspective of a future evolutionary version of people with monumental 2001 Space odyssey/16mm-esk black and gray slow panning shots. The score is obviously amazing. Its beautiful, relaxing, eerie with a hint of “All Tomorrows.” read more
