1) i forgot about logan and bobby. holy fuck. i don't know which sexual tension is stronger: logan & bobby or logan & scott. lmao. 2) i love how these films have an underlying metaphor for queer people. 3) this one is better than the first one. read more

the franchise challenge - x-men x2: an excellent follow up to x-men. we got to see a lot more from the team and to learn more of wolverines story, which was usurped by jeans evolvement into the phoenix. it was smooth, with great action and excellent character development- ⭐️⭐️⭐️&1/2 read more

X2 is not as good as the first X-Men movie for me but it sure is a fun movie! I felt Nightcrawler was a good addition here, but they didnt really go in depth with his backstory which is something I would have wanted to see in this film and not later on. I didnt like that they teased Wolverines past so much in the first X-Men movie with the ending showing the audience that they might show something in this movie but they didnt. I wish they could have shown it before X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I liked the focus on Charles Xavier here showing how he could hurt people if using Cerebro. Stryker... read more

This was entertaining all throughout. I like how the film had some funny bits alongside with good action and an interesting plot that keeps you watching. That and the likeable characters portrayed by good actors really makes this great. Also Logan turning off that trashy song on the radio is peak. read more

Much bulkier in runtime than it's predecessor, but also more confident and more fun, achieving for the most part in paying off what the first film had set up. It also adds several storylines branching off the main narrative and intertwining, almost stacking on top of each other like pancakes, and gives a wider pool of mutants more space to be part of the story, all giving the world a better sense of depth. The Magneto breakout is probably my favourite part of the OG X-Trilogy. read more

They did everything the original X-Men film did but improved upon everything. Seeing the characters evolve is a joy and the world building is fantastic. Not to mention Stryker as the film's antagonist also building the world and explaining bits of Logan's past. read more
