Skyfall

i've never been a bond fan; "it's a bond movie" doesn't work for me in waving off cliches as it would for other genres. i knew skyfall was beautiful (read bits and pieces about the cinematography) and it didn't disappoint, but i wasn't ready for the ridiculousness of the plot, the sometimes risible dialogue, and the gratuitous sex scene between bond and a character who had just been established as a terrified, abused former child prostitute and who is beaten up and perfunctorily killed in the very next plot development. judi dench gives an air of dignity and gravitas to all scenes she is in... read more

the worst thing about this movie is that it wasn't bad. but the gritty, crewcut, scarred bond takes me too far away from fond childhood memories of the golden ages of moore & brosnan. i just might have to turn to dujardin's oss117 spoof for corny spy theatrics with lotsa cool gadgets. judi & ralph are as impeccable as ever though. read more

sam mendes είσαι θεός παιδί μου. Φοβερές τοποθεσίες και σκηνές. Ωραία ταινιούλα, εντάξει δεν ξετρελάθηκα, η ελληνίδα ερωμένη μέτρια για ηθοποιός, γενικά πολύ πιο λίγες σκηνές δράσης από παλαιότερες ταινίες.
