So I'm really big MCU fan and Loki is one of my favorite characters, so when this was announced I was pretty excited!
But to be honest, while watching I wasn't really... vibing? As much as I did with the other shows. I don't know, something felt weird, somehow... maybe? I can't help to compare, but I wasn't looking forward to see what happens as much as I did with WandaVision and Captain America and the Winter Soldier. It was just more of a "I'm watching this because it has a connection with the MCU, just that"
While watching Ragnarok yesterday I found why. Loki already had his redemption arc, he didn't needed a new one; and even if he did, since this is 2012 Loki (his worst moment may I say) it was executed awfully. Like damn, a week ago he was threatening the entire Earth, killing people left and right and now he cares about Sylvie's and everyone's free will? I know seeing him having a good relationship with his brother and his mom dying changed him, but as much as he's suddenly now phase 3 Loki? And being with Sylvie seems like it changed him into being a good person, but they met like a few days ago. It just feels weird and rushed. I really liked how neutral Loki was, he did everything for his own good, not others, and I found that interesting.
However, I like the visuals of this show, I like how Miss Minutes is made and I also like the new characters, specially He Who Remains, but I'm really conflicted with Sylvie. She's a badass, but I wish she was more than the romantic interest of Loki.
The finale was kind of cliché-ish? There's always a war behind these stuff. I just wish this gets handled better in Doctor Strange, I can't believe it's Sylvie's fault (Thank you Sylvie) Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness is even happening.
Currently hyperfixated in Boku No Hero Academia! My twitter is makideku and my favorite show is Love Live! but I also really love She-Ra, The Good Place, Brooklyn 99 and, of course, My Hero Academia:)
